Movement Rehabilitation Specialist

My commitment to helping others find a pain-free, vital, and strong body bolsters my teaching practice and holistic approach to dance education. The experience of my own physical limitations challenged me to find a new essence of what it is to be a dancer and to build adaptive modes of physical conditioning. My journey in recovery and injury prevention guided me to build a successful private rehabilitation practice using the Pilates Method, Gyrotonic Expansion System® and athletic strength training. I integrate these body systems with my curricular visions to efficiently address movement experiences for artist-athletes that deviate from traditional dance activities. The goal is to build a strong human foundation for performance enhancement and long-term wellness support systems.
